A CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMME FOR ADULTS OVER 55
Textile & Sound Installation

The art and sound installation is an immersive experience, leading the participant throughthe newly planted gardens at Black Mountain Shared Space. Giving time to connect to nature, our senses, to look back, to look forward, to be present and breath.
There are postcard gardens, textile art, words, poetry and sound specially created through the artist-led community project to be explored. Come and join us and discover the wisdom that ispresent in nature and in all of us. Embrace life, embrace nature!

This project has been possible through the Arts Council Northern Ireland Arts and Older People Programme promoting positive mental health and wellbeing among older people, through participation and legacy funding from Belfast 24 to give the opportunity for local primary schools to be involved with a meaningful intergenerational approach
