Tapestry of
Life
A CREATIVE ARTS PROGRAMME FOR ADULTS OVER 60
A creative arts project for older people exploring memory, identity, and what it means to be seen as we grow older.
Through visual arts, textiles, and portraiture, participants will work with a brilliant team of artists to create a public arts installation celebrating older people: promoting their visibility, value, and lived experience.

Older people interested in creativity, conversation, and connection
No previous arts experience needed
Led by: Sandy Cuthbert, and a team of artists.

This project has been possible through the Arts Council Northern Ireland Arts and Older People Programme with support from Public Health Agency and National Lottery.
Th project is aimed at promoting positive mental health and wellbeing among older people, combatting isolation theough involvement with arts and community.

An immersive experience art and sound experience, leading the participant through the newly planted gardens at Black Mountain Shared Space. Giving time to connect to nature, our senses, to look back, to look forward, to be present and breath.

There are postcard gardens, textile art, words, poetry and sound specially created through the artist-led community project to be explored. Come and join us and discover the wisdom that ispresent in nature and in all of us. Embrace life, embrace nature!
